  7. Elan/Express is WYSIWYG document preparation environment for EROFF or troff
  8. documents. Users are quickly presented with an exact facsimile of their printed
  9. document onscreen. Correct font style and size, line and paragraph spacing,
  10. bitmapped images, tables, equations, pic diagrams, and graphs all are displayed
  11. onscreen just as they will print from a laser printer. Changes made to the
  12. document file can be quickly seen in the Elan/Express window with a click of
  13. the mouse. Elan/Express offers such features as string search, zoom in/out, fit
  14. to window (Autoscale), scroll, go forward/backward page, goto page, and
  15. keyboard accelerators. The Configuration panel allows for fast and easy
  16. formulation of the print commands and printer selection. The Directory Browser
  17. is used for quickly locating document files, wherever they might be in the file
  18. system. Documents may be printed directly from Elan/Express.
